Incredible news! We have been serving 500 people per month in programs such as after school tutoring for kids, grocery assistance, English as a Second Language, and Refugee Services. The City of Las Vegas and the Mayor were so happy with the scope of what has been happening here, that they voted to “give back” or release ownership of the portion of the building that they gave us as a grant in 2007! Basically this means that we can use the building for whatever we want and there are no more bureaucratic restrictions on what we can and can’t do—this portion of the building is worth about $250,000! Praise Jesus!
