Mission Adventures (Sep 12, 2012)

Students were able to share the Truth with hundreds on the Strip and in inner city Las Vegas. So far, we have seen 10 people accept Christ. The Lord has been moving mightily through each of the students, providing physical and spiritual healing, giving them His heart and His eyes for His children, and helping them overcome fear of man and rejection as they learn to do evangelism. God has also shown many what His plans for the next steps in their lives may be. Pray for the Spirit of God to come upon our kids and our city! In the spring we had over 150 young people come to Las Vegas to have the full missions experience and this summer we have over 200 youths ready to take the good news of Jesus to the streets of Las Vegas! Our summer program just started, with weekly teams of 15, 12, and 60 coming in. For many of these kids, it’s their first opportunity to share their faith or pray with someone in a public place. We are excited because many of them will go on to do greater things in missions as a result of their very first experience! 12 teenagers gave their lives to Christ right in a very middle-class shopping district here in town during Mission Adventure staff training!
